The Unmanned Company was born in science—founded to bring clarity and precision to drone risk assessment. We improve how risk is measured, understood, and managed through simulation, data, and real-world testing.

Established by Dr Ethan Bond—an FPV pilot and researcher in multi-rotor performance modelling at The University of Manchester—The Unmanned Company began with a mission to go beyond traditional drone safety methods. Our approach combines physics-based modelling, operational analysis, and technical expertise to support safer, more effective drone operations.

Our work started with the development of a detailed multi-rotor drone model, designed to improve how risk is evaluated in practice. Today, that model forms the foundation of our services—from drone operational analysis and SORA support to counter-UAS (C-UAS) evaluation for security applications.
